Inside Sales Representative – Clinical Trials (Loftware)

Role Description:

The ISR will be responsible for applying a thorough understanding of Loftware's products, services and sales methodology in daily activities that will include: responding to customers by completing sales transactions and quotes; enabling services requests by coordinating SOW’s (statements of work); proactively calling into the installed base to educate them on Loftware’s capabilities in order to expand their Loftware footprint of software; following up on inbound leads; teaming with Enterprise Field Sales and Sales Management on account strategies and updating account and opportunity records in

Position Reports To:

Director, AMER Inside Sales & Global Business Development


• Utilize a consultative sales approach throughout the sales cycle to understand customer’s business pains and their perception of potential solutions
• Consistently meet and exceed quota
• Identify new business within the installed base by calling into specific target accounts
• Develop a working knowledge of Loftware’s products, competitors, and industry trends
• Articulate industry-specific value propositions to address common vertical pain points with a focus on the industrial manufacturing industry
• Research and prospect in Clinical Research organizations (CRO), Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO), Clinical Supplies Organizations (CSO)
• Provide accurate forecasts and reports on sales activities and projects
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Field Sales team on account and opportunity strategies
• Engage Loftware resources as needed to effectively close business

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years inside/installed base sales or equivalent experience
  • Proven success cold calling or tele-sales required; technology sales experience strongly preferred
  • Verifiable track record of consistent quota attainment
  • Knowledge and experience of the Clinical Trials Supply Chain
  • Experience selling into the Clinical Trials sector and Translation
  • Experience selling software solutions within the ERP market is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably
  • Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecast
  • Experience working in a team selling model

  • Aggressive, positive attitude, strong organizational skills and a self-starter
