PRISYM ID is revolutionizing Artwork Creation and Compliance within Life Sciences

PRISYM ID introduces an InDesign Plugin to its life science dedicated label and artwork management platform, PRISYM 360.

Ensuring that packaging and insert artwork is error-free and regulatory-compliant is an increasing challenge for medical devices and pharmaceutical organizations.

PRISYM 360's InDesign Plugin enables designers to access approved content from within Adobe InDesign.

This greatly reduces the risk of errors being introduced during artwork creation, and minimizes the effort required for review and approval.

The result is compliant artwork that can be produced quickly and efficiently.

Without robust content controls in place, errors can be easily introduced during artwork creation, increasing review cycles and incurring cost. When these errors go unnoticed, the risk of non-compliance increases significantly.

PRISYM 360 is different - it enables designers to easily search and select approved content, in real-time, from within a dedicated InDesign panel. The required content can be simply ‘drag & dropped’ onto the Page or Paste Board, avoiding the risks associated with manually typing in content.

The use of variable placeholders means the InDesign files can be used as templates, so artwork can be revised or adapted by simply selecting different product data. The resulting InDesign files and associated PDFs are saved directly back to PRISYM 360, removing the risk of using incorrect artwork files.

Complementing the InDesign Plugin is PRISYM 360's advanced Artwork Inspection feature, enabling designers and approvers to easily perform in-depth GlobalVision Quality Inspections from within PRISYM 360.

This helps streamline quality review processes and aids compliance by automatically linking approved artwork files with corresponding GlobalVision Inspection Reports.

In addition, PRISYM 360’s Annotation feature allows highlighting and commenting on the artwork within the system, centralizing the feedback and shortening the review processes.

Simon Jones, VP of Global Products, says:
“Most enterprise-grade artwork management packages do not provide control over artwork content - product descriptions, dosage and expiration information, caution statements, translations, die lines, symbols and logos for example.

Without robust content controls in place, errors can be easily introduced during artwork creation, increasing review cycles and incurring cost. When these errors go unnoticed, the risk of non-compliance increases significantly.

For life sciences organizations, these new tools are uniquely designed specifically for achieving compliant artwork”.

The PRISYM 360 InDesign Plugin, Artwork Inspection and Annotations tools are introduced as part of PRISYM 360 Release 1.10 which is now available.
